Yamaha UTV Plow Pricing: Equip Yourself for a Smart Investment

A Yamaha Viking hauls, tows and seats up to six, and a front plow turns that same machine into a winter workhorse. We carry five complete Viking kits, with KFI’s straight-blade system at $779.95 on the low end and KFI’s Pro-V at $2,399.95 on the high end. The four straight-blade kits all sit below $900. The one add-on we price below is $49.95, and every kit here still needs a winch to raise the blade.

Viking Snow Plow Blade Choices
Blade style matters as much as width. SuperATV’s Plow Pro uses a 72-inch, 10-gauge blade with a 4-gauge cutting edge and flips forward when it hits something solid. KFI’s Pro-V spans 80 inches with the wings run straight, narrowing to 75 in V position and 72 scooped, and it can be angled from a hand remote, dash switches or manual bars. The blades by kit:
- KFI: steel Pro-S or Pro-Poly faces, sized from 60 to 72
- Eagle Plow: charcoal blades to 72, with an 80-inch black option on top
- SuperATV Plow Pro: one 72-inch blade with seven angle settings up to 30 degrees
- Denali Pro Series: a 12-gauge county profile in two widths and three colors
- KFI Pro-V: a poly-faced V with independently adjustable wings

Winches, Mounts and Add-Ons for a Viking Plow
Every kit relies on a winch, and a unit rated about 2,500 to 3,500 lb covers plow lifting, with 6,000 lb better suited to owners who pull loads too. The KFI Pro-V weighs about 290 lb, and its listing marks the winch as required. Mount coverage varies. KFI bundles the required winch mount with its Viking plow mount, while Eagle’s winch mount only lists 2014-2018 Vikings and 2015-2018 Viking VIs. Shop Viking winches to match yours.
The SuperATV pulley kit below adds mechanical advantage, so the winch works less on every lift. Run the rope through the pulley on the plow and anchor the hook to the bumper with the included strap.

Yamaha Viking Plow Fitment and Setup
Viking and Wolverine Mounts
Eagle uses one mount for both the Viking and Viking VI. KFI’s plow mounts call for the factory front bumper, and its Wolverine RMAX2 and RMAX4 mount comes with a required 2-inch leveling kit. Denali’s mount picker splits the Wolverine by model year, and our own blog recommends the KFI mount over Yamaha’s on the Wolverine to lower the pivot point.
Lift Height and Leveling
KFI puts the ideal pin height at 9.5 to 11 inches off the ground and sells leveling kits for 2-, 4- and 6-inch lifts. SuperATV’s adjustable attack angle handles up to 3 inches of lift, and anything taller needs its drop bracket. Denali’s answer is a push tube lift kit, offered in 2 or 4 inches, aimed at skid-plated machines.
Tracked Viking Plow Setup
For tracks, KFI’s straight-blade bracket moves the plow out 10.33 inches while the Pro-V version reaches 12.25. Eagle sells an extended push tube for tracks. Denali’s extended tubes will not work with its Hydro-Turn.
Winter Add-Ons for a Viking Plow Rig
- Windshields: stop blade spray from reaching the front row
- Cab enclosures: keep a six-seat Viking warm enough for the whole crew
- Heaters: most effective after the cab is closed in
- Tires: a snow-ready tread helps the Viking push instead of slide
When to Order a Viking Snow Plow
From November through January, plow orders ship slower than the rest of the year. An early fall purchase gives you time to mount the kit and test it before the season’s first storm. Most listings here offer an install guide for download.
The most common warranty is between 3-6 months, but Everything Yamaha Offroad does offer extended 1- and 2-year warranties on all products if that is something you are interested in — you can add the extended warranty right at checkout.
