Yamaha Wolverine RMAX2 1000 / X2 850 2-Door Upper Door Enclosure for OEM Glass Windshield by SideXSide Enclosures
If you run the factory glass windshield on your Wolverine, this is the version of the Yamaha Wolverine RMAX2 upper door enclosure you want. The OEM glass unit sits differently than a poly or acrylic windshield, so we cut a separate pattern for it rather than asking the standard panels to stretch and seal where they were never shaped to. These are sides only — upper doors for a two-seat machine — and they cover the RMAX2 1000 and the X2 850. Pick your machine and your attachment style in the drop-downs when you order.
Key Features
- Patterned specifically to work with the Yamaha OEM glass windshield
- Upper door panels for both doors on a two-seat Wolverine
- Separate patterns for the RMAX2 and the X2 — choose your machine in the drop-down
- Works with SideXSide rear windows and most aftermarket rear windows
- Velcro sewn along most attachment areas so you place the anchor points yourself
- Three attachment styles: self-adhesive Velcro, self-adhesive snaps, or screw-in snaps
- Installs and comes off in seconds once the initial setup is done
- Free sew-on Velcro included on request if you run a soft rear window
- Sewn in Eastern Ohio and covered by a 1-year warranty on materials and workmanship
Fitment
- Yamaha Wolverine RMAX2 1000: 2021+ and newer, two-door models
- Yamaha Wolverine X2 850: two-door models
- Built for machines running the OEM glass windshield
Important Fitment Notes
- This version is for the OEM glass windshield. If you run a poly, acrylic, half, or flip-up windshield, order the standard Wolverine upper door enclosure instead.
- Select RMAX or X2 in the drop-down. The two machines use different patterns and do not interchange.
- Upper doors only, sides only. No roof, windshield, or rear window is included.
- Two-door models only. Four-seat Wolverine machines use a different enclosure.
- Self-adhesive Velcro and self-adhesive snaps are not guaranteed to bond to every surface. Screw-in snaps give the most positive attachment.
- Applying Velcro or snaps over decals may damage the decals. Mark your placement before peeling any backing.
- Compatibility with aftermarket accessories such as mirrors, light bars, speakers, roofs, and windshields is not guaranteed.
- Use several small pieces of Velcro instead of one long strip for stronger adhesion.
- Do not trailer the machine with the enclosure installed. Trailering damage is not covered and voids the warranty.
How the Side Panels Meet Your Rear Window
- These panels are designed around SideXSide Enclosures rear windows and also work with most aftermarket rear windows.
- Rear window designs vary by manufacturer, so the side panel may overlap your rear window, or it may stop short and need to attach directly to the roll cage.
- Hard rear window: apply the included self-adhesive Velcro to the rear window or the roll cage, whichever the fit calls for.
- Soft rear window: Velcro needs to be sewn onto the rear window. Add a note to your order and we will include sew-on Velcro at no charge.
